“Together for Nature”

 Participating again this year in the events for the Europarc Day (2025), the Compulsory Cooperative for the Management of the Indivisible Forest of Koupa, along with the Cultural and Environmental Association of Koupa, invite you to celebrate again some of the beauties of our land.

Inspired by the Europarc Federation’s moto “Together for Nature” we are getting to know, protect and highlight our natural and cultural heritage and exploit its potential to connect people internationally.

The main event, which will again this year have elements of voluntary work, will take place on Sunday 25 May 2025. Starting from the “Kurita” fountain at the entrance of  Koupa village, at 09:30, we invite you to take the historical “allied” road -an essential monument of the First World War- and to hike to the ‘Krucci’ (in local Vlach: “Cross”) location, where we will meet some of the giant century-old trees (chestnut trees) of the area and carry out cleaning and promotion works.

After the return, there will be an informal Reception and Buffet in the courtyard of the Village's Cultural Centre at 13:00.

Note: The route is “mild” - “low difficulty”, about 3 kilometers or one - two hours depending on the pace - participation in the whole event is free and participants move with their own means and responsibility.
